The Department of Energy’s Office of Science has awarded a $100,000 Phase I Small Business Innovation Research contract to InnovaTek to develop a water gas shift (WGS) membrane reactor that allows production of pure hydrogen from biomass and coal derived syngas. The Company will collaborate with Pall Corporation of Port Washington, NY to develop the technology.

Dr. Patricia Irving, InnovaTek CEO, was elected to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the National Hydrogen Association during the organization’s annual meeting in Sacramento.
